THEORY COURSE
• Understanding volumes and technical landmarks (parallels, apex…)
• The different natural shapes and how to adapt them to salon shapes,
• Understanding the “client” perspective vs. the “technician” perspective to better meet client expectations,
• Analyzing different natural shapes to better understand common mistakes (breakage on the stress zone, lifting…)
• Understanding force distribution and its technical impact,
• Pinching,
• Detailed diagrams of inward-parallel shapes (from stiletto to round) to better understand ballerina and coffin shapes, plus metaphors to understand force distribution, apex according to shape, etc.
• Apex dosage according to shape and length,
• The different nail form placements,
• The optical illusion: how to “hide” an apex that can look unflattering to clients,
• How to make all 10 fingers look identical regardless of natural differences,
• Hiding technical zones to avoid unsightly bumps or thickness (root edge, etc.),
• How to achieve a fine, seamless result while respecting technical zones,
• Understanding the importance of the apex and where to place it,

• Demonstration of color gel application, along with decorative effects and finishing.
TRAINING CERTIFICATES & FOLLOW-UP:

Please note: this course is taught entirely using gel and polygel. If you work with acrygel or acrylic, it can still absolutely help you. Don’t let that stop you.

In 2009, I dreamed of learning this craft that fascinated me. Not knowing how to choose the right training centre, I was drawn in by one with a beautiful website and products I recognized, which reassured me.
All I cared about was learning properly and getting to work quickly.
But over the next 3 years, I kept making mistakes I couldn’t understand. I wasn’t happy with my work. I started doubting myself and my future in this industry, even though I was deeply passionate about it.
In 2012, I went to another training centre to learn a new shape. That’s when I realized all my mistakes had an explanation.
I was devastated to have spent so long thinking I wasn’t good enough, when really I had just been given incomplete training from the start.
UNDERSTANDING is the foundation of everything. Once I got it, I was finally succeeding. I was hungry to learn more. So I kept training, no matter the city, the country, the brand.
And here I am today, partnered with a brand myself, with my own website trying to win you over… but now you know that’s not enough to reassure you.
So how do you choose? Whatever the price or length of a course, the real proof is in the results students achieve. Look around you, ask questions.
Even though my beginnings were years ago, the memory stays with me every day. My goal through every course I teach, beginner or advanced, is to share my passion and give you the solid foundations that will save you from ever feeling like giving up or doubting yourself.
